'Lovely view!'
"As no double available my wife & I stayed in the twin. Room was adequate, although sink was difficult to use owing to the very small size and position. View over river, etc. was worth the money alone. Duvet & sheets were spotless, but throw at foot of bed appeared to be a bit 'grubby'. Also, stair hand-rail (near outside door entrance) could do with a good clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and booking in was simple. Happy overall with our stay."

'Very comfortable stay'
"Very enjoyable two night stay. The room was very comfortable with lovely views of the river. Excellent breakfast and very welcoming and friendly staff."

'Great guest house'
"Brilliant place, beside the railway station and minicab place. Central to all amenities and the Marina. Best B&B we have stayed at this year. The manager and staff very helpful, breakfast very good and the Cafe is excellent. Even the bank holiday weather wsd brilliant."

'Stopping all stations to the Whistle Stop! Whoop! Whoop!'
"The Whistle Stop aka The Station Guest House is a great 'it does what it says on the tin' place to stay. Throw in the ambience of the Ipswich to Lowestoft rail route under your bedroom window and the 'tinkling' of buoys from the many sail boats in Woodbridge Harbour and your stay becomes not so much a 'where I lay my hat....' but more 'I've arrived' (and in more ways than one - well, it is a station after all). Paul and his team are excellent, kind and thoughtful (and always on the 'phone if needs be) and run a great public cafe too as part of the deal. I love the Whistle Stop. Plan your stay well in advance. This stop is a very busy and popular one!"

'Good stay'
"Good room overlooking the River, comfortable bed, bijou sized en suite but every thing worked. Delicious full English breakfast and helpful pleasant staff. Beware last check in before 5pm if travelling from afar as we were and get a code for the entry keys."

'Great value'
"A great value stay in a wonderful location. It had all of the facilities I needed including a nice breakfast. Nothing fancy. I'd stay there again."
