'Lovely stay at Station Guest House'
"Lovely stay last weekend - sadly only one night for a nearby wedding, but it was perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and even brought lunch up to my room as I was on crutches and couldn't carry it. The room was great with a lovely view and breakfast in the cafe was exactly what we needed in the morning. I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay again. Many thanks!"

'Brilliant service'
"Couldn't have asked for more really. Very friendly, attentive service from beginning to end. Rooms were exactly as expected and very quiet. Would definitely stay again."

'A comfortable, enjoyable stay'
"I am elderly and was slightly apprehensive of holidaying alone but I found the welcome and bustle in the Whistlestop Café very reassuring each morning and enjoyed a good breakfast in a friendly atmosphere. My room was comfortable and I was provided with all I needed and especially enjoyed the bottle of water each day. The shower was excellent and plenty of towels provided with clean bedlinen and towels every other day. Although my room looked out on the carpark, it was not noisy and I slept well. I would recommend this Guest House especially for those holidaying alone."

'Recent two night stay'
"Bedroom ( 2 ) small but bed was comfortable . Whistle stop cafe very good and great atmosphere with friendly efficient service . Well placed for walking along Deben before breakfast and any other time . Our second visit and we will come again"

'Quirky, full of character and great location'
"This is the second time I've stayed in the Guest House. The location is great - I travel from London so it's lovely to get off the train and have arrived at my accommodation. It is yards from the river front with great walks of various lengths in various directions:- downriver, up river and into the historic town. I really like the cafe which feels cosy friendly and informal, licensed and with a varied menu. Being able to eat and drink outside is a real bonus. The weather was great while I was there so I had a couple of picnic suppers outside using the cafes tables. If you want to reach out from Woodbridge, it's possible to hop on a train to various destinations including Ipswich, Felixstowe and Oulton Broad where it's possible to go on a river trip. I thoroughly recommend the Guest House. The fact that you are not staying in someone's home is a bonus in my eyes. A variety of pubs restaurants and cafes are available in the town."
